Pain
The limbs shifted in the irrational breeze
She turned her face
To a sound
Blinking, she was met with a rush
Of wet wind
She wanted to move to the sound
but her feet would not listen
The crack of pressure hitting branches and leaves
Swaying, flinging, erratic
Cold air
The fading light casting it's pink and orange hue
On otherwise white, cottony pillows in the sky
Closing her eyes she searched in her mind
For the sound
She saw the pain before it she could feel it
The rushing, gut punching, soul crushing pain
Overcame her in red and black waves, driving the truth home
She finally wrenched her feet forward to stumble, half bent, away.
